Memorial Garden

Established in 1961, Skogskyrkogården’s memorial garden stands on a hill to the right of the meditation grove, looking from the main entrance.

Lewerentz was responsible for its fundamental design, but it has since had the addition of a memorial site for laying flowers up on the hill. This was designed by Göran Bergquist and Jan Wahlman as a stepped water feature for cut flowers at the two original memorial sites.
