Skogskyrkogården in brief

With its 102 hectares, Skogskyrkogården is the second largest cemetery in Sweden, with some 100,000 graves.

Each year, about 3,000 burial services are held here.

The cemetery has a crematorium, five funeral chapels and an outdoor ceremonial area.
In addition to the large Christian Protestant section, the grounds also house two Muslim and two Orthodox sections. There are also smaller sections for Bahai, Mandean and Catholic graves. A larger Jewish section is owned and managed by Stockholm's Jewish community.
